Michael Johnson

Michael likes to keep active - he enjoys running, cycling, skiing and hiking with his wife, Jill, and spending time with his two kids, Kellan and Reagan. That's a good thing, considering his work as a landscape architect and his role as leader of the Ohio/Michigan Urban Design studio keeps him on the move, too. "I'm hardly ever at my desk and spend almost as much of my time out of the office as in," he notes with enthusiasm. Michael feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to design resorts, campuses, cities, districts, and various rural and urban landscapes. "I get to work on unique projects all over the world and interact with cool people along the way." His greatest pride comes from the national award-winning master plan for the Indiana University-Bloomington campus.
