Brad Woodman

Brad is the Southwest Region Director and a seasoned architect with more than 30 years of experience. "My skills and strategic insight have been instrumental in the success of numerous projects, particularly in Science & Technology," says Brad. "Complex and exciting puzzles of Science & Technology projects truly inspire me." Brad's experience in the market varies in scope and type ranging in biotech, bioscience, biomedical, to forensic and energy laboratories. I like to focus on creating meaningful places where people excel." When he joined SmithGroup he never anticipated the sheer scope and impact of the projects, the diverse clientele, and the daily challenges from partners and peers. “We partner on incredibly interesting and challenging projects at the firm," he says. When not tackling design challenges, “I enjoy an escape from the hustle and bustle of life. Spending time with family and enjoying all aspects and outdoor activities helps me appreciate a slower pace and what’s important.”
